Coaching is a structured relationship to help an individual improve specific skills, enhance performance and achieve short-term goals. Individuals typically use a coach when they need targeted assistance to overcome specific challenges or to accelerate their progress in a particular area. In the workplace, coaching often focuses on assisting individuals in navigating their career path and promoting career development.
Mentoring is when a trusted advisor provides guidance on long-term personal and/or career development and skills such as leadership. Mentoring relationships are often informal and typically occur in the workplace or academic settings to help break down silos. Individuals typically seek a mentor when they need guidance and support for their overall career trajectory and personal growth.
Coaching and mentoring can be a powerful tool for personal and professional growth. While not everyone needs a coach or mentor, it can be particularly beneficial in certain situations.
The two most common areas where a coach or mentor might be engaged are 'Personal Growth' and 'Career Development'
Personal Growth - taking deliberate steps toward making substantial positive changes in your life.
* Setting and achieving goals: A coach can help you define your goals, create a roadmap, and stay motivated.
* Overcoming challenges: Whether it's personal or professional obstacles, a coach can provide support and guidance.
* Improving self-awareness: Coaching can help you understand your strengths, weaknesses, and values better.
* Building confidence: A coach can help you develop a belief in your abilities.
Career Development - the process of managing your progression towards long-term professional goals.
* Career advancement: Mentoring can help you identify career goals and create a strategic plan.
* Leadership development: A mentor can help you enhance leadership skills and build effective teams.
* Job search: Mentoring can provide guidance and support during a job search.
* Work-life balance: A mentor can help you prioritise and manage competing demands.
Ultimately, the decision to work with a coach or mentor is a personal one. If you're feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or unsure about your next steps, coaching or mentoring might be a valuable investment.
Coaching usually becomes relevant when something wants to be spoken, clarified, or integrated with support.
There’s no rush to decide.
If that moment comes, you’ll recognise it.
The duration of a coaching engagement can vary based on individual goals and needs; however, we find that for significant breakthrough to occur will usually require at least 3 sessions.
Some clients find value in a few sessions focused on specific issues or challenges, while others may engage in longer-term coaching or mentoring to achieve more substantial personal or professional transformations. Typically, a coaching relationship may last anywhere from a few months to several years.
It is essential to discuss your objectives and expectations with your coach to determine the best timeline for your coaching journey.
Yes.
If you have practical questions or need clarification, support is available.
You’re not expected to figure everything out on your own.
Do the self-paced courses include coaching or mentoring sessions?
The online and downloadable courses we offer are completely un-facilitated, in order for you to complete each lesson and exercise to your own schedule.
However, you may wish to engage the services of a coach or mentor to assist with particular elements of each course, and these sessions are available to purchase as single units or as blocks of several sessions to use as needed.
There are a variety of payment options. If you need more information, please discuss with your coach.

There’s no specific state you need to reach before starting. If you’ve found your way here and something resonates, that’s enough. This work doesn’t require certainty or motivation — only a willingness to be honest with yourself, at your own pace.
There’s no expected timeframe.
Some people move through it slowly over weeks or months.
Others return to the same sections more than once.
This isn’t something to complete — it’s something to sit with
No.
This work doesn’t diagnose, analyse, or treat anything.
It’s a guided, reflective process focused on rebuilding your relationship with yourself — not fixing problems or revisiting the past unless it naturally arises.
Every area of your life reflects how you relate to yourself.
As that relationship becomes clearer and more grounded, changes often ripple outward — sometimes subtly, sometimes significantly.
The focus here isn’t on outcomes.
It’s on alignment.
That’s completely welcome here.
You don’t need clarity to begin — clarity often emerges through the process.
This work is designed to meet you exactly where you are, not where you think you should be.
No.
There’s no ideal pace, order, or outcome.
Some people write extensively.
Others pause, reflect, and return later.
The only thing that matters is honesty.
No.
The workbook stands on its own.
Some people later choose to explore the work in conversation.
Others don’t.
Both are valid paths.
Many personal development approaches rely on effort, discipline, or external motivation.
This work begins from a different place.
It doesn’t ask you to change yourself — it invites you to restore your relationship with yourself.
For many people, that shift alone changes everything.
That's not a problem.
Stopping, pausing, or stepping away is often part of the process.
You can return whenever you're ready - the work will still be there.
That can happen.
You’re always in control of how deeply you go and when you pause.
Nothing here requires you to push past your own boundaries.
Gentleness is part of the work.
This work isn’t tied to any religion or belief system.
It’s grounded in self-awareness, honesty, and lived experience.
People from many backgrounds engage with it in their own way.
Not every approach resonates with everyone.
If at any point this doesn’t feel supportive, you’re free to step away.
There’s no obligation to make it work.
This work isn't about arriving somewhere new.
It's about returning to yourself and letting life align from there.
When the relationship with yourself is restored, life doesn't need to be forced - it aligns.
